1. Introduction
This policy explains what personal information Waybill ("we," "us," "our") collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using Waybill, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account info (name, email, password hash); delivery address and phone number; package info (retailer, weight, declared value, category, and for Buy for Me, the product link and notes); payment info — only your card's brand and last 4 digits, never the full number, expiry, or security code; support correspondence; and basic technical data, plus a device token if you enable push notifications.
3. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account, receive and forward your packages, estimate customs duties and VAT, process payments, send you shipment notifications you've opted into, comply with legal and customs requirements, and improve the service.
4. Who We Share Your Information With
Our warehouse/forwarding partner (e.g. MyUS or iPostal1); our payment processor (only what's needed to complete a charge); our database host, Supabase; our email provider, Resend, if email notifications are on; customs and government authorities as required by law; and as required by valid legal process. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored with Supabase with encryption in transit and access controls. Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Row-level security restricts your data to you and authorized Waybill operators. No system is perfectly secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active, and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and customs record-keeping. Database backups are kept for a limited rolling period, not indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate need to retain certain records. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Settings → Delete my account. This immediately and permanently erases your packages, saved address, payment method, and profile from our database and signs you out. Your login credentials are deactivated at the same time; we complete final removal of the underlying login record from our authentication provider shortly after, and it can no longer be used to sign in. If you'd rather we handle it directly, you can also email waybill.support@gmail.com.
8. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Israel, including the US and EU. Using Waybill means you consent to this.
Waybill currently serves customers in Israel. If you're in the EEA, you may have additional rights under GDPR, including data portability and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We'll update this policy with full GDPR-specific terms if we expand to serve EU customers directly.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Waybill doesn't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking — only basic technical data needed to operate the app. We don't currently use analytics to track your behavior; if that changes, we'll update this policy first.
10. Children's Privacy
Waybill is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 13. Users aged 13-17 may only use Waybill with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who bears full responsibility for the account and its activity.
Under Amendment 13 to Israel's Privacy Protection Law, personal information relating to minors is classified as "specially sensitive information" and is handled with heightened care. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, we will delete the account and associated data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated through the app.

9. עוגיות וניתוח נתונים

10. פרטיות ילדים
Waybill אינו מיועד, ואסור לשימוש על ידי, מי שמתחת לגיל 13. משתמשים בגילאי 13 עד 17 רשאים להשתמש ב-Waybill רק בהסכמת הורה או אפוטרופוס חוקי, שנושא באחריות המלאה לחשבון ולפעילות בו.
לפי תיקון 13 לחוק הגנת הפרטיות הישראלי, מידע אישי הנוגע לקטינים מוגדר כ"מידע רגיש במיוחד", ומטופל ברמת זהירות מוגברת. אם נודע לנו שקטין מתחת לגיל 13 יצר חשבון ללא הסכמת הורה, נמחק את החשבון ואת המידע הקשור אליו.
11. שינויים
אנו רשאים לעדכן מדיניות זו; שינויים מהותיים יועברו דרך האפליקציה.
